Having already purchased a Piranha screen for my Speed Twin 1200, I then purchased the Classic style to give me better wind protection. The results are subtle but surprisingly effective, with improved comfort when riding at motorway speeds. Swapping the screens take 5 minutes as they both bolt to the same screen mount. I now have a screen (the Piranha) that looks cool and minimalistic and a larger, but still cool screen for days when I’m travelling longer distances at higher average speeds. A win-win whatever the needs of the trip dictates!

I have the smaller Piranha windshield as thought it would be large enough. Well at highway speeds it's a bit small, but looks good on my Bobber. But the Classic which uses the same hardware is that much taller without being overly large so wind protection I think will be better, but TBH have not had the bike out this season yet to do test ride! If anyone is thinking it's too large looking I would say based on the differences between the 2 it's not THAT much larger but enough that I feel it will help and in the Dark smoke matches my all black bobber. Once I've done a proper test ride this spring I'll revisit this review and update. But either way quality parts so you can't go wrong either way!

I have used the Dart Flyscreen on my Honda CB1100 for close to seven years. I found it improved the airflow to make a pressure wave, for me, at upper chest high with my helmet in clean air. Turbulence and wind pressure was reduce from standard. A side benefit is that the instrument cluster stays bug free.
The original screen was light tint but suffering from over a 120,000kms of bugs, birds and the occasional stone. I have re-ordered, and promptly received a new screen, this time dark tint for a change. I would recommend a Dart Flyscreen to anyone.

I bought the Classic screen to replace a Dart Piranha screen which looked cool, but caused buffeting at motorway speeds and lots of noise).
Its a definite improvement regarding both problems (at least on my Rebel) but still worse than without it fitted.
On the plus side, it reduces pressure on your arms on motorway journeys, looks cool, and has great fit and finish.
I've contacted Dart to ask for advice (assuming that I've done something wrong) but the only adjustment seems to be about 1/2 inch height adjustment, and nothing on the angle.
As I didn't get the rebel primarily for the motorway (and as it looks so good) I'll keep it on and invest in some earplugs :-)

since it is a customized 1000SP from 1982, the brakets did not fit exactly but simply drilling two additional holes solved the problem. Nice shield!

Hi I actually stuck the dart screen on a ajs insetto scooter. Because of the design of scooter any screen wider than 26cm would cover the indicators fitted high up on handlebars. So got some cheap long stem mirror screen attachments from Chinese online parts and fitted screen. The quality of latter not the same quality as screen and was not expecting much of the marriage. But I was surprised it does look alright and the wind now hits my top shoulders and head rather than chest. I wish dart did mirror attachments but in fairness this is not what the screen is designed for. However it does look good 7 out off ten...and overall about 3mph top end and more comfort riding above 45mph so 8 out off ten.

This was actually just a change to the screen, moving up from the Piranha Flyscreen to the the Classic Flyscreen to get a bit more wind off me. Both look great on my 2018 H-D Low Rider, blending into the lines of the bike without standing out. Both sizes get the job done very well with the Classic screen blocking and pushing the air stream a bit higher to get it over my head/helmet. The quality of these screens and the hardware is top drawer. I first saw one on a Triumph Bonnie and thought it was "factory". The fit and quality was that high! I couldn't be more satisfied with Dart Flyscreens!

I really love this screen. I found that it was much more comfortable to drive above 100 km/h than without it. The bike handles better as it creates a bit of a wind break.

Great quality and fit and looks fantastic on my Bonneville. Improves the "air blast" to the chest substantially at all speeds, but is not total protection. Still a significant bit of wind noise in the helmet, but a less to the face than without the shield.
I typically ride a Harley Ultra, so I've gotten used to the bat wing deflecting SO MUCH air that I can have a conversation with my passenger. This screen doesn't get anywhere close to that, but if you're looking for a product that improves (not eliminates) airflow and looks great on the bike, go with it. Installation took about 10 minutes and as I said above,the quality, fit and finish are excellent.

I like it, still didn't try it on the highway, but anyhow it looks very cool on my Ducati Scrambler "Desert Sled". I'm very happy by choosing black one. It looks very good quality. It was little tricky to assemble it but cause of motorcycle and not cause of FlyScreen. FlyScreen fits perfect. Only thing to improve is two side bolts connect it well, but I can round it forward within side lights. I think putting something in the middle of flatscreen and attaching it to central light or dash can make it seat better.

I bought this screen to hide the cheap clocks on my BMW r9t. It has done that but also it gives some wind protection, which I wasn’t expecting, so now I can cruise at 70 mph comfortably. It’s a bit fiddly to attach to the bike but well worth the effort because there are no ugly fork clamps so it looks totally integrated with the bike.

I took a chance and felt like it would mount ok on a Van Van 200. It did, though the attachment bolts were not a fit for this bike's hardware. Being a mechanical engineer and having a good understanding of aerodynamics, I expected some diversion of airflow from the small Dart Fly Screen. Was a bit skeptical with just how much it would help, and was still reluctantly considering a full windscreen as I had on my last bike. I am truly impressed and surprised at how well it preformed. It exceed my expectations. You still feel a bit of the wind on your chest, albeit reduced, and this is fine. What I really noticed is the reduction of buffeting at my helmet. Highly recommended and looks great on the bike!

For starters, I love this! It is sleek and is perfect for my style. I was pleasantly surprised at how much it deflected the air in spite of its small profile. My bike is a Honda CMX250, but I wasn’t able to find a screen for that model so I selected the CMX500, not even thinking of the fact that the forks on the 500 would be larger than mine. The brackets didn’t fit at first, but I just ran to the local hardware store and bought rubber gaskets to fill the space, which worked flawlessly.
Overall, I am very happy and would recommend to any minimalist who wants to save their body from wind fatigue.

I love this product, one of the best value upgrades to my Yamaha XSR900. Although I found the default position of the windscreen a bit too upright for my tastes and doesn't reinforce the natural lines of the bike. Would've preferred a more slanted orientation (check out the photos on Motodemic). All in all though, I would definitely buy this product again if I get another sports heritage bike and will always recommend it to a friend.

The windscreen looks good, not very obtrusive looking and fits the bike nice. I believe it shields a decent amount of wind on the highway. The only drawback was that I thought I would be able to take it on and off and use it only for long trips. However, once you take it off you have to adjust the headlight aim all over again with removal and reattachment. It will stay on for good now. A new design suggestion would be to have a separate bracket on the bracket to snap it on and off as needed without having to loosen the headlight mounting bracket.

Very satisfied with the screen. It really works. I don't use to drive very fast and below 120 km/h it's very useful. Over that speed you feel the wind on your neck.

I needed something to take the wind off of me so I could enjoy longer rides at over 50 mph . I tried some other windshields and although they took the wind off of me they also made my head feel like it was in a paint shaker at speeds over 50mph. The Dart flyshield seems to be the answer. I still feel wind obviously, but the wind I feel is clean. I'm hoping the wind blast relief it does provide helps me enough to enjoy longer rides at higher speeds.

I really love this screen. I found that it was much more comfortable to drive above 100 km/h than without it. The bike handles better as it creates a bit of a wind break.
Not sure of the science, the bike just feels more stable at higher speed.

Great quality and fit and looks fantastic on my Bonneville. Improves the "air blast" to the chest substantially at all speeds, but is not total protection. Still a significant bit of wind noise in the helmet, but a less to the face than without the shield.
I typically ride a Harley Ultra, so I've gotten used to the bat wing deflecting SO MUCH air that I can have a conversation with my passenger. This screen doesn't get anywhere close to that, but if you're looking for a product that improves (not eliminates) airflow and looks great on the bike, go with it. Installation took about 10 minutes and as I said above,the quality, fit and finish are excellent.

I like it, still didn't try it on the highway, but anyhow it looks very cool on my Ducati Scrambler "Desert Sled". I'm very happy by choosing black one. It looks very good quality. It was little tricky to assemble it but cause of motorcycle and not cause of FlyScreen. FlyScreen fits perfect. Only thing to improve is two side bolts connect it well, but I can round it forward within side lights. I think putting something in the middle of flatscreen and attaching it to central light or dash can make it seat better.

I bought this screen to hide the cheap clocks on my BMW r9t. It has done that but also it gives some wind protection, which I wasn’t expecting, so now I can cruise at 70 mph comfortably. It’s a bit fiddly to attach to the bike but well worth the effort because there are no ugly fork clamps so it looks totally integrated with the bike.

Very easy to fit, I did fit some tape around the lug that touches the headlight brackets to protect the paint. Looks and work brilliantly.
I chose the dark tint as it compliments the black bike. Does keep wind off chest a bit so functional as well as good looks.

I took a chance and felt like it would mount ok on a Van Van 200. It did, though the attachment bolts were not a fit for this bike's hardware. The screen is very nice, a little smaller than I expected but I'm sure it will do the job of offering a little wind/rain protection. Thanks for the quick delivery.

Being a mechanical engineer and having a good understanding of aerodynamics, I expected some diversion of airflow from the small Dart Fly Screen. Was a bit skeptical with just how much it would help, and was still reluctantly considering a full windscreen as I had on my last bike. I am truly impressed and surprised at how well it preformed. It exceed my expectations. You still feel a bit of the wind on your chest, albeit reduced, and this is fine. What I really noticed is the reduction of buffeting at my helmet. Highly recommended and looks great on the bike!

Love the flyscreen, wish brackets came to fit generic headlights; ie 7 or 8 inch so I wouldn't have to fabricate one. Maybe they do and I didn't see it during the purchasing options. But great product.

Was an easy installation, has helped with the direct wind to my body, the wind is coming up higher to my helmet to some degree which is making a little more noise to the helmet. Overall I would recommend this product

For starters, I love this! It is sleek and is perfect for my style. I was pleasantly surprised at how much it deflected the air in spite of its small profile. My bike is a Honda CMX250, but I wasn’t able to find a screen for that model so I selected the CMX500, not even thinking of the fact that the forks on the 500 would be larger than mine. The brackets didn’t fit at first, but I just ran to the local hardware store and bought rubber gaskets to fill the space, which worked flawlessly.
Overall, I am very happy and would recommend to any minimalist who wants to save their body from wind fatigue.

Originally bought the flyscreen for my starter bike, a Honda Rebel 500. I liked it so much that when I traded in the Honda on my new Triumph Bobber Black, I kept the flyscreen. The Fly Screen was easy to install and looks great! It definitely helps improve riding comfort at speeds over 60 mph., however at lower speeds I am getting slightly more wind noise with the screen installed. Overall I am happy with its performance.

I love this product, one of the best value upgrades to my Yamaha XSR900. Although I found the default position of the windscreen a bit too upright for my tastes and doesn't reinforce the natural lines of the bike. Would've preferred a more slanted orientation (check out the photos on Motodemic). All in all though, I would definitely buy this product again if I get another sports heritage bike and will always recommend it to a friend.

The windscreen looks good, not very obtrusive looking and fits the bike nice. I believe it shields a decent amount of wind on the highway. The only drawback was that I thought I would be able to take it on and off and use it only for long trips. However, once you take it off you have to adjust the headlight aim all over again with removal and reattachment. It will stay on for good now. A new design suggestion would be to have a separate bracket on the bracket to snap it on and off as needed without having to loosen the headlight mounting bracket.

Very satisfied with the screen. It really works. I don't use to drive very fast and below 120 km/h it's very useful. Over that speed you feel the wind on your neck.
Anyway I was interested in protecting the control unit from mosquitos and it is very effective.

I needed something to take the wind off of me so I could enjoy longer rides at over 50 mph . I tried some other windshields and although they took the wind off of me they also made my head feel like it was in a paint shaker at speeds over 50mph. The Dart flyshield seems to be the answer. I still feel wind obviously, but the wind I feel is clean. I'm hoping the wind blast relief it does provide helps me enough to enjoy longer rides at higher speeds.
