Classic Flyscreen

Bought the medium size tinted screen for my black Scout, which has been customised and it just fitted in with the look of the bike. Before purchasing I was slightly sceptical as to how effective such a small screen would be, but given the cost I was prepared to give it go. After attaching the screen to the bike, I was surprised just how effective it was in removing a significant amount of wind pressure from my chest making cruising more of a pleasure than a battle against the elements.

Looks great on my Indian scout and really does make a difference to the wind on your chest , so very pleased with the dart screen . I wish I’d have gone for the slightly larger version, but that was my choice so no complaints whatsoever. Would highly recommend Dart .

My new-to-me 2015 Indian Scout had this windshield already installed on it. It looks fantastic and works perfectly!

The fit and finish on the Dart Classic windscreen is impeccable. The windshield itself is great, but the mounts are also of the highest quality. The cuts/edges were perfect, and the material is amazing. I will definitely be sticking with it. Dart made a bullseye with this one!

The fly screen works perfectly for directing so much wind off of me while riding and there is a noticeable difference. The ride is so much easier now on highways and at speed because the wind keeps off and it also adds a nice tough to the overall loo. The installation wasn't hard either and only needed 2 tools to complete.

The classic looks clean and does a good job covering the cables and offering some wind deflection around town and short highway trips. I liked the quality and look so much I bought a Marlin to put on for longer highway trips. They are both easy to swap back and forth so I will be keeping them both.

Great accessory for the bike. Fits well and looks great! If I may suugest, please make one (bracket) that will fit the Scout Bobber.

The mounts are machined beautifully. The screen works better than expected. Took much of the wind off of my chest. Rode 6 hours last weekend to and from VA. Experienced much less fatigue than without it.

Love it with the smoke LED headlight & blacked out bike. Seems to be really made well. Easy to install for anyone. Takes a lot of the wind off of you but not all of it. Looks good on an Indian Scout I would buy again.

This is my second Dart flyscreen. The first was on a Bonneville. I was the one who found Steven`s knife. So for my Scout, yours was the only flyscreen I looked at. And it`s great. Thanks.

I love this Dart Flyscreen! When it arrived I thought it was too small to make a difference, but it does, especially at highway speeds. The quality is great and comparable to much more expensive windshields. I think it looks great and doesn't take away from the minimalist look of the bike. I have a 2021 Indian Bobber Scout 60 and it fits perfectly. It only took about 15 minutes to install by myself.

I like how it looks on my Scout. The materials are of high quality and installation, despite meager illustrations to accompany the instructions, was not difficult. It keeps the pressure off my torso at highway speeds, as advertised.

Recently purchased a new Indian Scout and added a Dart Flyscreen. It fit's perfect, looks great, and deflects the wind off my core.

Dart experience could not have been better! Order took less time to get from England to Chicago then from Chicago to Davenport, less then 200 miles! Dart screen looks fabulous on my 2019 Indian Scout "60". Just the right amount of protection, i.e., directing the wind off of my chest. Highly recommend! Thank you all at Dart! Paul

Bought this as I needed a bit of wind protection on highway. This worked perfect to get the wind off my chest and help alleviate the buffeting. Fast shipping, easy, easy install and looks perfect on my Scout 60. Highly recommend, great product, excellent quality.

This is a very well made product. And unlike many products these days, it fits perfectly!

This flyscreen does exactly what I was hoping it would. Shave off 25-30mph of "air pressure" when on the highway.

Only issue I have is that one of the fork clamps came stripped...so I cant close the clamp all the way...its just snug.

I am very happy. Fitting was simple and my ride today was awesome. The wind normally hitting me at my throat now passes straight overhead and the light screen looks fabulous. I can still clearly see the Indian logo through it and it sits neatly, so it enhances the look rather than overtaking it considering my airbrushed paintwork. Thank you!

i have gotten a china one for my old bike then i found you guys though my forums and i said next new bike going to buy one of yours well i did buy a new bike a 2019 indian scout and i brough your middle size screen for my bike and i love it looks great on my bike and you can also tell how well made it is i like also that it installs on your forks too very happy with it thks

It’s rather small and doesn’t block much wind. The quality is great, just thought it would be a little larger.

My Girlfriend did not want a normal, tall windshield. She wanted some wind protection & not mess up the scout’s beautiful lines. Showed her the Dart Screens & she loved the way it looks! Not a complete wind protection but definitely helps deflect the wind for a better, much comfortable ride. Great craftsmanship, simple installation, fast shipping & looks Awesome on the bike!

I pretty much buy one of these and put it on every bike I get Just enough to stop you getting blown off the saddle but not enough to take away from the looks Well thought out design and easy to fit

I put the Marlin on my 2018 Indian scout . it does the job I needed it to do , it stopped my buffering and my front end from shaking. Unfortunatly the finish is shoddy. The edge is wavey and some spots dull as if no buffing was done. For the price I think they should have a better Q.C department. Other then that the shield does work.

It looks really cool, and the quality is excellent. However, it does not really do a lot for windprotection. Would like the upper 3 cm to have a small curve outwards, then it would block a lot more wind....

Haven't put alot a miles on it yet, but from what I've experienced so far, all good.

This wasn't a stock option for my Scout so I was a little nervous at first that it might not look aesthetically pleasing but I went with my gut and was over the moon with the results . knowing also that this shield was going to last much longer than the acrylic is also amazing. glad I went with my intuiton.

This screen works flawlessly. Takes the wind right to the neck on my 6'0 frame. Maybe in the future if they make an even taller one, I'll upgrade. With my 10" mini apes the fit is perfect as is though. This screen makes the bike much more enjoyable. You don't feel as though you're holding on for dear life with it. I added two small metallic decals to mine.

My friend Mr David Hildick has the same bike as me an Indian Scout, he is going to order the same screen as mine but in the dark tint after riding my bike this weekend.

Excellent screen! Breaks hard buffeting on chest and air hitting helmet is clean air. I am a 6 foot rider on a 2019 Indian Scout. Love it!

I wanted to wait on an evaluation until I had used the shield for several weeks. At 70 MPH the wind hit me at the lower part of my helmet which is exactly what I wanted. It effectively keeps the wind off my chest, allowing me to enjoy the ride without having to hand on for dear life. I am very pleased with the product and happy that I did not go with my original plan of purchasing a full windshield.

Fitted the Dart Indian Scout Marlin. Quality is very good looks like it will last, very easy fitting and looks smart. Guide refers to a list of bikes of whether brackets are on the inside of outside of the forks. No list in mine, not an issue as it is obvious. Initially fitted high towards the top yolk. Have done a few hundred miles in varying weather and prefer to drop just above headlamp. Still carrying Allen key to adjust should I need to. Fitting is very stable. Wind protection, do not expect miracles as you would from by full screen. It does take pressure of the chest at higher speeds and subject to adjustment and your own height does not add to helmet buffering. A nice screen.

Does a fantastic job of blocking wind. Bike feels more stable and far more comfortable. I was shocked and the difference it made. I enjoy riding significantly more than before. Honestly, the scout should ship with these stock.

Screen is good service great but designed for different model brackets drsigned for forks wont go on my bike in prosess of making brackets to fit i should have done more homework

The Dart flyscreen on my Indian 19 Scout has changed my life. I sleep better, and jump out of bed with a spring in my step each morning. I can feel my stress simply ebbing away. Even my teeth have whitened considerably, and co-workers have commented on how clear my skin looks, and how happy I am to be alive. I attribute this to the Dart flyscreen. Seriously, the screen works well. We get quite blustery winds, and on a day when a ride would be very uncomfortable, the screen makes it reasonable. So thumbs up.

I'm used to a larger windscreen but it does a good job protecting my chest from the wind. The design is excellent and blends in with the overall "look" of my Scout. Well constructed. Overall, I'm pleased with it.

It does a great job of keeping wind off of my body. It’s perfect because I like the wind in my hair but I really don’t like getting pushed down in the seat. Especially for long rides. I’m surprised by how little buffeting there is as well. Great product! Very happy.

Very high quality and looks great on the bike. It was easy to install and fit perfectly. It is helpful at reducing the wind blast at 60 mph, my estimate by about 30%. That's enough to make the ride doable for me.

Great piece of kit does the job great. I've noticed a big difference on motorways less buffeting to my torso and I don't feel as if I'm gripping the handle bars a tight.

I was really surprised by the difference this fly screen made. It made highway driving enjoyable especially with helmet lift. I pick the Marlin windshield because it was the biggest available for my Indian Scout. My plan was to remove it in between long trips. But it looked so good I just left it on full time. It really makes my Scout look better!!!

I fitted the new Classic flyscreen on Saturday - it took about 15-20 minutes (so easy) - the hard part was finding my hex screwdrivers... Managed to take Ruby out for another spin yesterday with the flyscreen, and blimey what a difference. In warm weather I usually wear a hoodie under my cut-off and previously the hoodie laces used to whip against the back of the helmet (like being hit with a drumstick) due to turbulence. Not now, the wind buffeting has ceased (still get air though lol) - the difference in the ride is remarkable. So glad I took the plunge and bought it. Btw - I’m 5’6” and the wind goes over my head - and I no longer feel like I have to hang on for dear life to get above 65 ;-)

Smaller than I would have liked. Maybe should have measured. But looks cool so I will keep it. Eager to feel difference it makes During a summer ride

Delivered with incomplete hardware. I haven't been able to mount it to see how I like it yet. Waiting for the parts. Luckily there is over a foot of snow on the ground, so I'm not missing any ride time.

Install was a breeze. The Marlin does exactly what I wanted it to do, take some pressure off my chest while riding without giving me any helmet buffeting, all while complimenting the looks of my Scout.

Great packaging and instructions. Perfect fit, form and function as I expected. I did a lot of searching and research on line. This far surpasses anything that the factory has to offer.

The Dart Marlin takes the brunt of the wind away from my torso and makes the ride more stable. I also notices that when driving into a strong headwind, I have a smoother, more controlled ride.

This screen looks the part and does the job without being to bulky making the ride more pleasant. Well designed and well worth the money.

This screen was easy to fit and looks good. I’m surprised at the difference it seems to make even though it’s quite short. Because of the recent bad weather I’ve only had the opportunity to test it at speed once. But I could feel a decrease in wind buffering.

Was dubious that such a minimal screen would have effect. However it seems to deflect the wind giving a far smoother and enjoyable ride

I actually had the original Dart Flyscreen on there this summer, so I knew what to expect. I ordered the Marlin because it is a little wider and a little taller for the winter months. It works as expected, a little more wind off of your body so the wind blasts when it is 40 degrees F outside are easier to manage. I haven't tried it in the rain to see if it clears off the helmet shield as easily as the original does, but I would assume it will work better, as I get more air directly to my helmet. I have rode motorcycles for better than 30 years, and I still like the small sport windshields and Flyscreens better than the large windshields. (Except maybe for cross country rides, in which case, I wouldn't use the Scout for that).

This screen is great. It looks sweet, and it lessens the wind hitting your chest. Installation was very simple, and adjusting it up and down is also very easy.

I bought the Dart Marlin flyscreen in the dark tint for my Scout. I think it really looks good on the Scout, the curve of it just goes so well with the bike. You can see through the dark tint in the daylight , I have not rode at night with it yet. The clamps that attach to the forks have rubber that make it not scratch and help them stay put on the forks. I thought you could adjust the angle of the flyscreen, but you can't only how high or low on the fork tubes it is mounted. The wind protection is minimal your arms and shoulders are still in the wind. I also have Kuryakyn driving lights (no longer available) mounted on the forks. I didn't know if all 3 (stock turn signals, driving lights and flyscreen ) would fit on the forks. They do with not much extra space. I'm glad I purchased the Marlin.

Although part was on backorder I contacted them and explained that I was taking a bike trip to Tennessee and if there was anyway to get the screen beforehand. They were on it right away and the following week Monday one was in the mail for me and received it a few days later.

Looks great on bike , very easy to install . Truthfully can’t tell that it blocks any wind on chest or helmet but am happy with the purchase.

Fitted this to my 2018 Indian Scout. Not only does it fit and look good but it has quite an impact on deflecting wind over my shoulders instead of full on the chest.

An excellent product well priced, easy to install, and looks good on the bike. Does a good job of reducing wind pressure felt on the mid section and makes highway cruising more enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Finally, I wanted to see if I could improve on the pushback from the wind. I like the wind and I like the look of the Scout, so full-sized windshields were out. The Indian fly screen was silly expensive and detracts from the look (IMHO). Besides, I wasn't looking for a cowl... I like the clean look of the Scout and wanted something low-key that might even enhance the look, not radically alter it. Enter the Dart Classic Fly Screen; what a great find. Well, I put it on the other day (it took just under a week to get here from UK). Another big WOW!!! Now instead of hanging on at speed, I sit comfortably inside a bubble of quiet. I can sit erect and not have to hold myself up anymore. The Dart fly screen is low profile, looks like it was made for the Scout because it just blends in perfectly, and creates a standing bow wave that pushes the air aside and make room for me to sit. The air that was pounding my chest is now only at my collar bone and shoulders. Head is in a smooth slipstream and I can cruise now very comfortably at a steady 65-70 mph without fighting to hang on or feeling like I'm about to die. (I'm 5'-7"). They also make a "Marlin" fly screen, but it kind of looks like it's from Alien... I liked the smaller "Classic" model better, but definitely check it out!!!

It redirects all the wind straight into my face. I'm 6 feet tall. I wasn't expecting how loud the wind would be. I need to return it, I can't hear myself think.

This is a well made windshield that fits perfectly and is extremely easy to install. It is exactly what I wanted for my Indian Scout Sixty. Gives me some wind protection with out being too big. Love it!
